Jimbo Fisher has brought relevancy back to Tallahassee, Florida and rebuilt the Florida State Seminoles into a football machine like his predecessor Bobby Bowden. The Noles have won double digit games in six of Fisher’s seven years in Tallahassee and won a National Championship back in 2013.

Fisher has positioned himself as one of the top coaches in the country with an Hour Glass coaching stamp of 31, which is good for fourth in the country. The average coaching stamp for 2017 is a value of FIVE (5), which puts Fisher in our elite coaching category.

Talent wise, the Noles have recruited with the best of the best and have a three year recruiting stamp of 97, which is second in the country in our matrix and only behind Alabama. Ohio State also has a recruiting stamp of 97, which means the Noles are at the top of our realistic National Championship Contender bust line.

The Noles return one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Deondre Francois, who is rated the 15th best quarterback in the country per our analytics. Francois has a quarterback stamp of 18.4, which is well above the average quarterback number line of 10.6 for 2017.

The Seminoles play the 22nd hardest schedule in the country, taking on Alabama in week one, at Clemson on November 11th and finishing up with a trip to Florida on November 25th.

There may not be a bigger game coming out the gate than Florida State – Alabama and while we have the Tide in a close win, don’t be surprised the the Noles win the ball game outright.

Florida State has all the tools in 2017 to be a National Championship contender and should win the ACC this year and make the College Football Playoff.

We have them as the third team in the College Football Playoff, behind Alabama and Ohio State.

Projected win – loss record for the Florida State Seminoles (11-1) {Regular Season}.
